Art (ärt) n. - The conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colors, shapes, forms, images, movement or other elements in a manner so as to depict that of beauty, life, fantasy or some other creative perception of the imagination.About The StudioIn the beggining there was just me, my curiosity, imagination and a desire to learn. I developed an interest in art at the early age of 5, when I had my first art project in elementary school. Within that same year I began to realize that it took a vast amount of knowledge and creativity to make the world as it was around me. I am Ian Sterling, founder of Is My Dream Fine Art & Design Studio. I'd like to welcome you to a piece of my dream. Is My Dream Studio was founded in 2007 specializing in a variety of design services for the small business and "start-up" markets. Being a freelance artist and designer as well as an entrepreneur myself, I understand the commitments and struggles that are taken on by the business owner of today. It is my goal to deliver unique, high quality products and services at a price the small business owner or start-up entrepreneur can afford. It is also my commitment to you as a client to help you develop and establish an identity and to broadcast your voice throughout the marketplace. |
A Little More HistoryIs My Dream Fine Art & Design Studio is the direct result of one of my lifelong dreams put into motion. So allow me to welcome you to this dream. It all started when I fell in love with the arts at a very young age. Sketching, painting, sculpting, photography and music all captivated my imagination. Throughout my early years I developed my skills as a traditional artist by studying and working in as many media as possible. With the introduction and development of design software and digital media, I found myself learning and embracing new concepts, ideas and technologies. It was at the start of the ".com boom" that I began to realize the freedom and possibilities that were opening up for me as a freelance artist, designer and musician. So, with a little trial and error and a lot of time on task, I began to invest in myself and my dream of opening up my own studio, a studio that would represent my various talents and accomplishments precisely as I saw fit. Today, my dreams are being fulfilled with more freedom and oppurtunity then I had ever imagined. It has been said that "There is no time like the present!" In our world today these words couldn't be more true. I find myself getting lost in more dreams than ever before and with the advent of today's technologies I am finding more of them to be quite managable and achievable as well. So don't hold back, just let those dreams go and develop into whatever you can conjure up and imagine. Afterall, it has also been said that "You only live once." If this is true, than we all need to take advantage of it while we have it. With so many options and choices in media available to help you broadcast your ideas and dreams, you'd almost be foolish not to give your dreams and desires a shot. So what are you waiting for?
